Tandoori Xpress

I think this is the best kept secret in San Diego. I've tried all Indian food places in Poway and RB, and several in SD. As always, the butter chicken was spectacular and did not disappoint! Best in the county. My wild card was the Alu jeera masala, a flavorful potato dish, which I tried for the first time. Another hit! Every meal I try here is the best experience in Indian food. That every standard and new dish I try here is amazing, fresh, and brimming with flavor guides me to keep trying new dishes. Highly recommend.

Awesome and speedily service. Curry Chicken was awesome. They even called me immediately after I ordered to tell me they no longer sell Chicken Caesar Salad, but thats ok all the other food was very well seasoned and tasty!! Definitely going to order from here again!!!

Lived in India for six years and often find ourselves missing the flavors. Tandoori Express does a great job -- tasty mahkani and saag, with good mix of veg in the bhindi masala and generous servings of rice. On time with each of our orders too...extremely pleased!

A remarkable array of vegetables went into making this dish. Highly enjoyable and recommended. It's the only Indian restaurant in the neighborhood that is the real deal.
